Apply for Concurrent Enrollment as an International (F-1 Visa) Student

You are considered a concurrent enrollment international student if you want to attend classes at TCC while being enrolled at another college or university.

Deadline for Application Packet

Your completed application packet must be submitted before the deadline.

Semester/Term Application Packet Deadline
Spring Term (January–May) Before November 15
Summer Term (June–August) Before April 15
Fall Term (August–December) Before July 15

Documents Required for Application Packet

The following documents A-E are required for your application packet.

A. International (F-1 Visa) Student Admissions Application

There are two options for TCC student admissions applications.

Option 1: Online Admissions Application (Preferred)

Apply online with ApplyTCC (use Firefox or Chrome browser for the best experience)

You will receive an email with a TCC student ID number after you complete the online application. This does not mean you have been admitted to TCC or can register for classes.

Your official F-1 transfer acceptance letter will be emailed to you from the International Student Admissions & Compliance Office.

Option 2: Paper Admissions Application

If you are not able to apply online, complete the International Student Admissions Application (PDF)Listen. Include this PDF in your complete application packet.

B. Official Transcripts

Transcripts are submitted differently from the rest of the information in your packet. To submit your U.S. transcripts, follow our steps for submitting your official transcripts.

These are transcripts from the current U.S. college or university you are attending.

Submit an unofficial midterm grade report if the final semester grades have not yet been posted to your transcript.

Contact International Student Admissions & Compliance if your college/university has sent the transcript electronically.

C. Concurrent Enrollment Form

Concurrent Enrollment Form (PDF)Listen: This document is completed by your current college's/university's International Student Admissions & Compliance office.

D. Copies of Your I-94, Passport, Visa, and Current I-20

Documents must be valid and submitted in a PDF format.

E. Evidence of Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccination

You are not required to submit meningococcal meningitis vaccine documentation with your admissions application but, if you are admitted to TCC, you must submit it before enrolling in classes.

The vaccine paperwork must be submitted in a PDF format.

Vaccinations are only required if you are under 22 years old.

Vaccinations are valid for 5 years. Learn more about meningitis vaccinations requirements.

Submit Application Packet

Application packets must be submitted before the deadline and have all required documents. If they do not have all required documents, they will not be processed until all documents are received.

Once we have received your completed application packet, the review process will take about 1–2 weeks to finish.

Submitting a completed application packet does not guarantee admission to the College.

Use the application packet checklist (PDF)Listen to ensure you have a completed application packet.

Options to Submit Your Application Packet

All documents submitted electronically or by postal mail become the property of TCC.

A. Email (Preferred)

Submit a single PDF of all your documents combined to InternationalAdmissions@tccd.edu.

B. Postal Mail

Send a completed paper packet by postal mail to:

Tarrant County College
International Student Admissions & Compliance Office
350 N. Henderson St.
Fort Worth, TX 76102

Receive Official Acceptance Letter from International Student Admissions & Compliance

Your official acceptance letter will be emailed to you by the International Student Admissions & Compliance office by one of the following dates:

Semester/Term Notification Date
Spring Term (January–May) November 30
Summer Term (June–August) April 30
Fall Term (August–December) July 30

If a date falls on a weekend or holiday, it will be extended to the next business day.

Note

Submitting a completed packet does not guarantee admission to TCC.
