Language Pathway Program

Our Language Pathway Program (LPP) helps F-1 visa international students meet English proficiency admission standards and improve their English.

What is the Language Pathway Program?

LPP helps you build the English language skills you need to be successful in your college studies in the United States.

You will take both developmental and credit English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses to prepare for a Student Exchange and Visitor (SEVP)-certified degree program.

Not Just Courses

This program will give you time to adjust to the U.S. and its academic system.

You will also get to know American culture. We offer activities outside of regular classes where you will spend time with native English speakers and practice your English skills.

Am I eligible for LPP?

You are eligible if:

  • You plan to apply for admission as a first-time-in-college F-1 visa student at TCC, but your score on the internet-based TOEFL is between 30 and 70, or score on IELTS (overall band) is between 3 and 5.
