TRIO Upward Bound
Upward Bound is a federally funded TRIO program that provides you (if you are selected) with year-round support in high school performance and prepares you for entrance into college.
Purpose
The Upward Bound program helps you develop the skills and motivation you need to complete high school and to succeed in your future higher education pursuits.
How TRIO Upward Bound Supports You

Upward Bound Program Components
Academic Program
Participate in weekly after-school tutorials and monthly weekend activities during the school year.
Summer Enrichment Program
Join a six-week summer program designed to simulate a college-going experience.
Summer Bridge Program
Ease your transition from high school to college by taking college-level courses, which are paid for by Upward Bound. The program is offered if you plan to attend college the fall semester following your graduation from high school.
Summer Work-Study Program
Receive professional work experience, on-the-job training, skill development and career mentoring.
