eLearning extends the reach of TCC beyond the traditional classroom and directly into our community. Information Technology administers the Canvas portal and manages all distance education courses offered through the Internet.
eLearning currently offers over 220 college credit courses and a variety of continuing education classes. You can learn in real time, and the online format makes it easier to fit pursuing higher education in with other responsibilities.

Distance Education State Authorization Statement
TCC offers online educational opportunities to students residing outside the state of Texas. The United States Department of Education (USDOE) requires that institutions comply with any applicable state approval or licensure requirements in each state to which online instruction is delivered. As a result all colleges must be authorized to deliver online instruction prior to allowing students from those states to enroll.
TCC is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). This membership allows our institution to conduct limited activities within the NC-SARA member states listed below.
