Apprenticeships at TCC
TCC's apprenticeships are registered with the Department of Labor and combine flexible, on-the-job training with classroom instruction, giving you valuable real-world experience to meet today's industry demands.
How does an apprenticeship work?
TCC partners with employers in Dallas/Fort Worth to help them develop a skilled workforce for their business.
As an apprentice, you'll be hired to work full-time at an employer with whom TCC has a partnership.
You will receive on-the-job training from your employer while also taking classes at TCC that are related to your new position.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will walk away with a nationally recognized credential from the Department of Labor, a certificate or degree from TCC, and the skills to flourish in your new career.
What's the difference between an apprenticeship and an internship?
