Title IX Staff Training Materials
Title IX Regulation 34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10) mandates the public sharing of materials used to train college Title IX team members.
All members of the Title IX team (Title IX Coordinators, Deputy Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and advisors) receive training on the following topics:
- Scope of TCCD sexual misconduct policy
- Sexual misconduct/Title IX grievance process, including hearings, appeals and informal resolution processes
- How to serve impartially by avoiding prejudgment of the facts at issue, conflict of interest, and bias
- Technology used at live hearings
- Other issues of relevance
All materials used to train the members of the Title IX team do not rely on sex stereotypes and promote impartial investigations and adjudications of formal complaints of sexual harassment.
