Movers Unlimited Dance Company
Movers Unlimited Dance Company is the Northeast Campus’s resident, pre-professional dance company. Under the direction of Kihyoung Choi, Ph.D., we select company members through auditions (see details below).
Our mission is to promote humanity, unity, and diversity through the art of dance. Company members are committed to reach out to the greater community through performance, volunteer work, and dance education for the artistic enrichment of the community.
Company members become versatile, well-rounded dancers by performing an advanced repertoire of:
- Classical & contemporary ballet (pointe)
- Modern / contemporary dance
- Hip-hop dance
- Traditional & contemporary Korean dance
- Jazz dance
- Musical theatre
- Tap dance

Auditions
Auditions consist of 3 parts.
You will:
- Learn & perform 1 movement combination from any of the following styles:
- Ballet
- Modern
- Tap
- Musical theatre
- Jazz
- Hip-hop
- Perform a solo of any type of dance style
- Length: 1–2 minutes
- Have a short interview with judges
Requirements
- Experience in 1 or more of the following styles of dance:
- Ballet
- Modern
- Hip-hop
- Tap
- Musical theatre
- Jazz
- Willingness to explore diverse dance forms with the goal to develop strong performance skills
If selected, you must enroll in Freshman Dance Performance or Sophomore Dance Performance (Monday/Wednesday rehearsal class) on Northeast Campus.
