Senior Education Program

Our Senior Education classes offer a variety of personal enrichment topics customized for adults aged 55+.  

Whether you want to learn a new skill, stay active, or make new friends, TCC has what you need to continue your lifelong education. 

Dates & Deadlines   

Spring 2025 Dates 

  • Registration opens: December 4, 2024 
  • Orientation: Options for orientation dates and times are listed in the Senior Education schedule of courses. 
  • Classes start: January 27, 2025 

Fall 2025 Dates

  • Registration opens: August 6, 2025
  • Orientation: Options for orientation dates and times are listed in the Senior Education schedule of courses.
  • Classes start: September 8, 2025

Costs & Refunds 

One $20 registration fee per semester allows you to enroll in as many Senior Education classes as you choose at one or all of our campuses. 

Some special event courses may have an additional fee. 

Tuition Exemption 

Senior education classes are not eligible for the Texas resident 65 and older tuition exemption.

Eligibility for Participation 

If you’re 55 years of age and older before the starting date of the classes, you are eligible. 

There are no citizenship, residency, or educational requirements to enroll. 

Class Schedule & Changes 

10-week sessions are offered each fall and spring. Classes have no tests or grades.

Change Your Schedule 

You may change your schedule online prior to the first day of class. After the first day, you must contact an office on the campus where the class(es) is/are scheduled. 

Changes are made on a space-available basis only. No changes can be made after the second class period. 

Register & Pay for Classes 

Register and pay for upcoming Senior Education classes in MyTCCTrack's Instant Enrollment. 

There are no limits on the number of classes for which you can register.
