Our Mission
To prepare graduates who are excellent and ethical surgical technologists with qualities needed to provide exceptional compassionate and caring patient care.
How Our Program Works
Time Commitment
You need to commit to full-time schedule for 2 years (60 credit hours).
Part-time, weekend, and distance learning are not available.
Clinical Case Requirement
Surgical rotations are a mandatory component of our program.
You must complete 120 cases—including general, specialty, and endoscopic surgical procedures.
Our surgical technology program is required to verify your progress in the scrub role in surgical procedures that increase in complexity as you move toward entry-level graduate competency.
Schedule
Program courses, labs, and clinics are generally held Monday through Thursday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Clinics may start as early as 6 a.m. and possibly include afternoon or evening rotations.
There is little or no time for outside work during program.
Grades
Successful completion of this program requires a grade of “C” (75 percent) or better in all courses.

Approximately $5,733, including courses, books, and immunizations
National Certifying Exam: $247
Credential
After successfully completing our program, you are eligible to sit for the Certified Surgical Technologist Exam, which is administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
