Radiologic Technology by the Numbers
- 2.5: minimum GPA to be eligible to apply

Our Mission
To graduate radiologic technologists who demonstrate clinical competency, professionalism, critical thinking skills and communication skills.
How Our Program Works
Time Commitment
You need to commit to a full-time schedule for 6 consecutive semesters (2 consecutive years).
You must also be able to plan your other coursework around the schedule of core Radiologic Technology courses.
Part-time, weekend, and distance learning are not available.
Schedule
Program courses, labs, and clinics are generally held Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Clinicals may start as early as 6 a.m. and possibly include afternoon, evening, and weekend rotations.
Grades
Successful completion of this program requires a grade of “C” (75 percent) or better in all courses.

Earn a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences (BSRS)
Each semester, TCC radiology faculty will teach Midwestern State University (MSU) BSRS courses. The courses we teach are online for convenience. Live instructional time with faculty can be arranged.
This 120-hour degree is designed to help you meet your radiology career goals.
Core Courses & Elective Courses
- TCC radiology faculty will teach BSRS core courses.
- MSU radiologic science faculty will teach elective courses.
- You choose 4 electives that cover topics such as:
- Administration
- Informatics
- Teaching
- All imaging modalities
- You choose 4 electives that cover topics such as:
- Tuition: You pay MSU tuition for both BSRS required and elective courses.
General Education Courses
You can take the general education courses (42 hours) and the statistics requirement (3 hours) at TCC (currently $74/semester credit hour).
You can also receive credit for general education courses you have taken in the past.
Plus, you can receive 42 hours of credit for your ARRT /NMTCB /ARDMS certification.
