Before You Enroll, Think About:
- As a drafting and design professional, you will work long periods using a computer.
- You will also be using with a variety of software platforms.
- You must be detail-oriented.
- We follow an 8-week semester schedule that starts with 2 required entry-level classes:
- First 8-weeks: DFTG-1305 Introduction to Technical Drafting
- Second 8-weeks: DFTG-1409 Basic CAD
- After completing these 2 classes, you will choose your specialty pathway: Manufacturing or Building / Civil
- After completing our program, you will be prepared to enter the career field of your
choice.
- Our A.A.S. degree is not designed to transfer to a 4-year institution.
