Student Achievement Goals & Success Data

Student Achievement Goals

In support of the Institution's mission statement, to provide affordable and open access to quality teaching and learning, TCCD's student achievement goals are as follows:

  • Promote student retention and subsequent graduation for credential-seeking students
  • Improve the academic performance of our students by successful course completion (attain a grade of A, B, C, or CR)
  • Provide a path for transfer students to further their studies
  • Provide career pathways for our students to pursue gainful employment and attain relevant professional certifications and licensure
  • Provide alternative modes of instruction including distance learning for the convenience and accessibility of our students.

In this regard, TCCD monitors the relevant performance indicators associated with these goals and determines thresholds and targets. These indicators are:

  • National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) 6-year Completion Rate
  • Successful Course Completion Data
  • Retention and Persistence Data
  • Distance Learning Data
  • Licensure Pass Rates
  • Graduation and Awards Data
  • Transfer Data
  • Gainful Employment
