Institutional Effectiveness Plan (IEP)
As proof of Tarrant County College (TCC)'s commitment to institutional continuous improvement, each divisional unit and department in the District is tasked with developing an annual Institutional Effectiveness Plan (IEP).
Each yearly plan includes a defined mission and specific:
- Goals
- Objectives
- Measures
- Targets
- Findings
How We Support IEPs
The Office of Institutional Research works closely with every stakeholder throughout the year. We provide access to data-derived information that supports the development of relevant measures and assessment as well as implementation validity for ongoing improvement of student progress—in alignment with TCC’s strategic plan.
WEAVE
TCC uses Weave to document the continuous improvement efforts through annual IEP plans for all divisional units and departments. We provide training to stakeholders in the technical requirements of using Weave.
IEP Workshops
Throughout the year, we offer additional ongoing workshops that provide targeted support and training in the technical and content aspects.
These ongoing workshops have the following objectives:
- Explain IEP documentation requirements
- Illustrate how to develop data-driven goals and outcomes for divisions or departments
- Develop data-driven goals and outcomes in alignment with the strategic plan
- Describe how to use program fidelity assessment results to make informed program improvements
