What's new with tccd.edu?
Notice anything different?
We've spent the last year creating a fresh look for some of our most visited pages. Our goal is to help you find the information you need more easily.
Here are some, but not all, of the highlights.
Homepage
We've added a few more buttons under the "I want to…" section to help you get where you want to go. These include "Take a Campus Tour," "Get Help" (links to the Information Center page), and "Browse All Programs" or "Browse Programs by Pathway".
Information Center Page
The "Get Help" button on our homepage will take you to the updated Information Center page, which now provides quick and easy access to help options and department contact information.
The updated page is also the new home of our student buttons, which were previously featured on the homepage.
Admissions Page
Our updated admission page allows you to "apply," "browse programs," "schedule a tour," and select a specific set of enrollment instructions depending on what type of student you are.
How to Apply Pages
Each student button links to a unique set of application steps that will help get you started at TCC. Each step can be expanded or collapsed for viewing; it's your choice.
We've also reduced the number of student types to make it faster for you to jump into the application process without being overwhelmed by choices. We've consolidated topics for home school students, non-citizens, and returning students onto our new Admissions Frequently Asked Questions page.
Pathways Pages
Our 5 updated program pathways pages now include identifying photos and descriptions to help you scan the page and quickly find programs that interest you.
Here is a sample page of the Arts and Humanities Pathway page.
Pay for College Page
The updated Pay for College page shows you how you will pay per credit hour, per 3-hour course and per semester if you live inside Tarrant County. We've broken up the content in sections with visuals so that you can easily digest the information.
