Financial Aid: Student Financial Aid Services

Financial aid can help cover the cost of tuition, course materials, and other supplies you might need for college. Our Student Financial Aid Services can help you with applying for and understanding your financial aid.

To be eligible for federal financial aid, you'll need to submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Start with the new-to-college student webpage. You will find information about the enrollment process.

In addition, you can contact the foster care alumni transition champions at your campus for enrollment support.

People told me to apply for FAFSA. What is that?

FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. You need to fill out the application and submit it every year to be eligible for federal financial aid.

CitySquare Transition Resource Action Center (TRAC)

A Dallas/Fort Worth program that connects young people, ages 14–24, who are transitioning from substitute care toward self sufficiency with individual support, planning, and access to community services.
