Text Message Notifications

You can now receive TCC reminders and notifications, as well as connect directly with select TCC offices. Some examples of text notifications include, but are not limited to: admissions, registration and payment reminders; advising staff outreach; and general information assistance.

If you would like to receive TCC communications via text, follow the steps below to opt in. You can opt out at any time.

Note: This text alert option is not the same as the myTCC Alerts emergency alert text messages you may already receive. Learn more about myTCC Alerts.

Opt-In to Text Messages

Opt-In with MyTCCTrack

To opt-in to general notification text messages via MyTCCTrack, you must:

  1. Log in to MyTCCTrack
  2. Go to your User Profile, either by clicking on your username or selecting User Options in the navigation menu.
  3. Locate the Phone Numbers section.
  4. Select +Add New Phone and choose the type as Text - Opt-In.
    • Note: If your phone number is already listed, you will still need to add the same phone number again to show that you're choosing to opt-in to text messages.
  5. Finish by clicking the Add Phone button.

Opt-Out of Text Messages

Opt-Out with MyTCCTrack

To opt-out of general notification text messages, you must:

  1. Log in to MyTCCTrack
  2. Go to your User Profile, either by clicking on your username or selecting User Options in the navigation menu.
  3. Locate the Phone Numbers section.
  4. Use the X button to remove the Text - Opt-in phone number.

You have now opted-out of text messages.

Opt-Out by Text Message

To opt-out of general notification text messages via text message, you must:

  1. Text STOP to 817-290-4058.
