MakerCon
What is MakerCon?
A one-day conference where you can:
- MEET other Makers
- LEARN about Making
- DO some Making
TCC will host a Maker expo where you can talk with local Makers and learn about their craft, watch a Making demonstration, or participate in a Make-along experience.
What is Making?
Making is the act or process of forming, causing, doing, or coming into being.
When is MakerCon 2025?
Saturday, October 4, 2025, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Who should come to MakerCon?
Makers, wannabe Makers, and the people and businesses who love them. (Including kids!)

Upon registration you will receive an email with specific directions to the buildings and rooms once we get closer to the event. Maker Alley will be located in Riverfront Cafe.
Maker Alley
If you are a maker interested in showing others how to make what you make, this alley is for you. Some of our Makers will include Fort Worth Library Panther Lab Makerspace, Arlington Library Makerspace, UTA Fab Lab, and Young Men’s Leadership Academy.
Make-Along
Take one or more of our Make-along classes where you learn how to make something and take it home with you. Some of our workshops will include creating steampunk lamps, RPG characters, Arduinos, electromagnetic hovercraft, online game development, and setting up your own Etsy shop.
Maker Showcase
Our demo area of the café will host various Makers from around the Fort Worth area who will demonstrate how they make their maker creations. Some of our demos will include cosplay, laser engraving, 3D printing and more.
