High School Equivalency Classes
English HSE/GED®
High School Equivalency (HSE) classes are designed to improve basic skills and prepare students for the HSE examinations (GED®).
You will cover the five subject areas:
- Reading
- Writing
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies in English
When you are ready, you can take the HSE tests in English, one subject matter at a time. Once you’ve passed all five parts of the exam, you will receive your HSE certificate.
Bilingual HSE/GED®
Here are a few reasons to enroll in the Bilingual HSE/GED® program. You will:
- Get a customized learning plan that includes the skills needed to pass the ESL progress test and Spanish HSE exams.
- Take lessons to learn English as a Second Language (ESL) in order to improve your English language.
- Learn English and prepare to take the Spanish HSE exam.
You will cover the five subject areas:

- Social Studies
When you are ready, you can take the HSE tests in English/Spanish, one subject matter at a time. Once you’ve passed all five parts of the exam, you will receive your HSE certificate.
We also aid students in developing job readiness skills, completing industry wide career training and preparing to enter college.
