Eddy Current Technician

Program Description

After successfully completing our Eddy Current Technician program, you will understand the basic theory and be able to apply electromagnetic techniques of materials testing.

The 2 courses in our program meet the requirements of NAS 410 and ASNT SNT-TC-1A.

Through both classroom and hands-on lab training, you will learn about general principles of electromagnetic testing, including:

• Skills for basic examination
• Effects of material properties
• Probe types
• Calibration standards
• Equipment selection
