Our Mission
To provide didactic and clinical instruction that will enable individuals to pass the national registry examination and perform as competent, entry-level Anesthesia Technologists to serve the local community.
How Our Program Works
Applicants
The number of applicants we accept is based upon clinical availability.
Time Commitment
You need to commit to full-time schedule for 2 years (60 credit hours).
Schedule
Pending class times are Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5–8 p.m.
Clinics
Requirement
Before starting a clinic rotation, you must get an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate that is approved by the American Heart Association.
About Clinics
Clinics are arranged with the program director and require a total of 16–24 hours per week depending on the semester.
Our program director will create and coordinate schedules based upon availability.
If you work at a facility that has agreed to host you as an anesthesia technology student, confirmation of a current affiliation agreement is required. For more details, please speak with the program director.
Grades
You must earn a minimum grade of “C” (75 percent) to pass.
You will receive an "F" for any grade earned that is below 75 percent, and you will have to drop out of the program.

Certification Exam
After graduating from our Anesthesia Technology Program, you will be eligible to take the national certification exam offered by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists & Technicians (ASATT).
To be eligible to sit for the ASATT exam, you must complete an ASATT-Recognized Education/Training program. Our Anesthesia Technology Program is an ASATT-Recognized program.
After you earn initial ASATT certification, you must get 30 hours of anesthesia technologist-related continuing education credits and reapply with ASATT to renew you certification.
