Office of Accreditation
The Office of Accreditation's mission is to ensure institutional compliance with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Principles of Accreditation by continuously improving and systematically documenting performance and assessment measures in all aspects of TCCD's operations to support the College's mission and strategic planning.
The College maintains compliance through systematic Districtwide collaboration between faculty, staff and students:
- The Office of the Vice Chancellor of Analytics and Planning (along with the chancellor, cabinet, and the College's board of trustees) directs the strategic planning efforts of the College.
- The Office of Institutional Research manages the institutional effectiveness planning process.
- The Office of Curriculum and Educational Planning manages program review and program and institutional student learning outcomes assessment.
Reaffirmation Process
Through the decennial reaffirmation process, TCCD creates a five-year Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) proposal. Once approved by SACSCOC, the College implements the plan. The QEP is managed by the QEP Director through the Office of the Vice Chancellor and Provost.
